What is a life coach?

'What personal training does for your body, life coaching does for your mind'

As a life coach I can help to bring out the best in you and assist you on your journey of personal growth and self-discovery. I can also assist you to decide for yourself what the best approach is for solving your problems and reaching your goals.

 

It is important to be clear that life coaching is distinctly different from therapy, counselling and other professions, although coaching does have some similarities. As a life coach I am not here to tell you what to do, nor to give you advice. You are the answer and solution to your own questions and problems, I can guide you to recognise that.

As a life coach some of the things I can help you with are:

  • Help you to identify and uphold your values 

  • Listen to your complaints, concerns and challenges and act as a non judgemental sounding board for your ideas

  • Provide you with motivational support, especially during times of decision making and exploring new opportunities

  • Improve your thinking and your mindset

  • Help you to identify and remove any limiting beliefs that you may have about yourself

  • Help you to create a healthier, happier and more fulfilling life 

  • Work with you to create a strong action plan to help you achieve your goals 

  • Be your personal cheerleader and be with you throughout your progress towards your goals
